Berezovsky's old pal definitely killed himself, maybe

A source close to Nikolai Glushkov, the friend and former business partner of the late oligarch Boris Berezovsky, told the news agency Interfax that British police are treating his recent death as a suicide.

The friend says Glushkov was suffering from severe depression after losing much of his wealth due to lawsuits, and had previously attempted suicide. Glushkov was found dead at his home in London on March 13.

The newspaper Kommersant quoted a source who claims strangulation marks were found around Glushkov’s neck, though it was unclear if this was due to suicide or foul play.
