Transneft reports attempted attack on Druzhba oil pipeline

The pipeline operator Transneft reported an attempted “terrorist attack” on the Druzhba pipeline system, at a fueling station in the Bryansk region.

Transneft said that no one was injured in the attempted attack. The company did not provide any further details.

• The Druzhba pipeline transits oil to the European market via Belarus.
• In March, Transneft also reported finding explosive devices near the Bryansk fueling station on the Druzhba pipeline.
