Pashinyan said that the draft peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not ready for signing

Baku does not stop unfounded accusations against Yerevan and countries that give an objective assessment of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, for example, France. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan at a government meeting. According to him, Azerbaijan does not want to provide Armenia with communications on its territory, continuing the 30-year policy of blockade. Yerevan has long been ready to restore transport links based on the principles of equality and sovereignty. “But the document was not adopted because of the destructive actions of the Azerbaijani side. She continues to accuse Yerevan of the presence of the Armenian military in Nagorno-Karabakh, but they are not there. The Defense Army operates there, the reasons for the existence of which can be found in the daily Azerbaijani propaganda and actions aimed at genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh,” Pashinyan said.

The Prime Minister of Armenia also announced a meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev: “In the near future, my meeting with the President of Azerbaijan is planned in Brussels through the mediation of the head of the European Council. Unfortunately, the text of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not yet ready for signing.”
