Azerbaijan will continue to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine

Azerbaijan intends to provide Ukraine with mine-clearing equipment. This was announced by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during his speech at a conference on the restoration of Ukraine in London. He noted that his country provided medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation services to 100 children from Ukraine. By the end of 2023, this figure will double.

In general, Baku will allocate at least $10 million for the restoration of Ukraine. “Azerbaijan plans to continue to contribute to the efforts to restore and reconstruct Ukraine, in particular, by sending electrical equipment and implementing reconstruction projects in the city of Irpin,” Bayramov said. Since February 2022, Baku has provided humanitarian assistance to Kyiv in excess of $20 million.
