Interest holders of the repeated long construction on Chernyakova Street in Yoshkar-Ola started an indefinite hunger strike on April 26. Initiative group posted notification in the social network and sent it to the media.
This notice includes a hunger strike address (Lebedev Street, 57a), and a link to the live broadcast. There are four of the hunger strikers, but other interest holders may join them soon.
The main requirement of the participants of the hunger strike is to provide an initiative group of interest holders with an approved estimate of the cost of completing the second and third stages of construction and documentary financing guarantees.
According to interest holders, the next deadline for completing the construction of an apartment building on Chernyakova Street expired on April 1. Apartments were not transferred to them. Prior to that, within half a year the developer was able to perform a clean floor filling in only 20 apartments out of 162. Since mid-February, all work on the site has been discontinued.
Interest holders of an apartment building on Chernyakova street in Yoshkar-Ola have been waiting for the completion of construction for 2.5 years. To draw attention to the problem, they hold pickets close to the buildings of the republic's authorities. Last year residents called on the law enforcement agencies to check the activities of the construction company "Trust 21 Volvodyatskspetsobyektstroy". In July 2016, holders of the repeated long construction refused to take part in the elections to the State Duma, until their problem is resolved.
