Dear “Women’s Dialogue”
We had the pleasure of obtaining several issues of your magazine from 1997-2000. For us, it was a real find. Our organization has been working in Georgia on women’s issues since 2000. We’ve gotten experienced in certain ways, but there is still a lot that we need to learn so as to seek new avenues, fulfill our capabilities, and be in demand. We would like to be your regular readers, if possible.
Dear women – strong of character, wise, who are noble to help those who are weaker and to share their experience and knowledge. It is good that you exist, since you are a guideline for weak yet purposeful compatriots, that is to say, ourselves.
With feelings of deep respect,
Deidzia Gudushauri, teacher, and chair of the NGO “Women and Health”
Quite by chance I saw your magazine We/Myi, The Women’s Dialogue, issue 16/32. I would like to be part of your dialogue and regularly receive issues of the magazine.
From 1996 to 2000 I worked as the elected head of the Rudnianski district of the Volgograd region. The district was accepted in the union of small towns of Russia and I took part in the union-organized meetings with women leaders of local government.
In 2000 I visited the USA under the program “Leaders of Russia.” Now I am the founder and chosen director of the district NGO “Assistance,” whose main purpose is to develop and harmonize gender relations in the economic, social and political spheres of life. The organization is newly registered, there is little information about the non-commercial sector, but I have already tried to master the Internet in order to search for information.
I will be pleased to cooperate with you, if my experience seems interesting to you.
With respect and gratitude,
Galina Alexandrovna Gorban
