Russia strikes Odesa, reportedly setting Epicentr hypermarket on fire

Russia struck Odesa with missiles and drones, Oleh Kiper, head of the region’s military administration, said.

Kiper said the strikes mainly hit food storage facilities and energy infrastructure, though private homes were also damaged and fires broke out. He gave no further details, and there were no immediate reports of casualties.

Ukrainian Telegram channels reported that the Epicentr hypermarket caught fire, posting photos and videos of the large-scale blaze.

Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed its forces struck the Yuzhne port in the Odesa region, hitting a tanker carrying fuel and lubricants for the Ukrainian military, five fuel storage tanks, 10 warehouses holding military equipment, and port infrastructure used to unload and store military cargo.
