On-foot traffic cop bests car in high-speed pursuit

In April 2013, a Russian police dashcam recorded footage of a car fleeing officers on an icy road. In the video, one of the officers rushes out of the police car and catches up to the car they’re pursuing.

It's a typical high-speed pursuit, until 20 seconds in, when one of the officers sets out on foot at amazing speed. YouTube users commenting on the video note that the suspect probably wasn’t making the best decision in his life, when he elected to flee his vehicle on foot from the policeman who just outran his car.
