The head of Russia's Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, has granted government jobs to 11 members of KVN, a Russian comedy troupe and competition. The positions are in Chechnya's cabinet, parliament, and state ministries. "I'm certain that they'll adapt quickly to the new conditions and put their best foot forward," Kadyrov wrote on Instagram, without specifying what jobs exactly he awarded the comedians.

Kadyrov is the honorary president of Chechnya's KVN club. He recently met with Chechnya's KVN team in honor of International KVN Day, which was celebrated on November 8.
