Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin diagnosed with COVID-19

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has been diagnosed with the coronavirus, Interfax reports, citing a statement from Mishustin himself. According to RBC, this has also been confirmed by President Vladimir Putin.

On Telegram, RBC reported that Mishustin has nominated First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov to take over as acting prime minister, while he recovers in self-isolation.

Putin has already signed the decree appointing Belousov acting prime minister. He also said that final decisions on federal economic aid will not be made without Mishustin's involvement.
