Ukraine receives 4 more HIMARS launchers from US

An additional set of four HIMARS multiple rocket launchers has arrived in Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, the country’s Defence Minister, says on Twitter.

Reznikov thanked the United States for the help. “We have proven to be smart operators of this weapon. The sound of theHIMARS volley has become a top hit of this summer at the front lines!” he wrote.

Ukraine now has over 20 HIMARS launchers. More than 50 Russian arsenals have been destroyed with the help of HIMARS so far.

Ukraine also received MARS II missile systems from Germany earlier today.
