Nine-year-old boy killed in missile strike on Ukraine’s Dnipro region
A child was killed in an attack on Zelenodolsk, a city in Ukraine’s Dnipro region, governor Valentyn Reznichenko stated.
“The Russians killed a nine-year-old boy in Zelenodolsk. In the late afternoon, they attacked the Zelenodolsk district twice with Uragans [multiple rocket launchers]. Preliminary information suggests 10 people were injured,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Reznichenko, all the injured persons were taken to hospital, the majority of them are in a serious condition.
Eight high-rise apartment buildings, as well as shops, a kindergarten, a school and a local government services centre were damaged in the attacks. Several houses were also destroyed in Velyka Kostromka.
It was reported earlier today that an eight-year-old child was killed in an attack on Ukraine’s Mykolaiv region. Head of the Mykolaiv regional council Anna Zamazeeva said that two people were injured in Mykolaiv, and four were wounded in Bereznehuvate, including two children.
