Kherson occupation authorities: civilians to be moved out of combat area amid Ukraine’s offensive
The pro-Russian authorities of Ukraine’s region have announced “moving civilians out of the region” amid Ukraine’s offensive, says Vladimir Saldo, the Russia-installed governor.
“The Ukrainian side is marshalling its forces for a massive offensive. Russia has formed a grouping to repel this attack. In this situation, I have made a tough decision but a right one: to move civilians from certain districts of the Kherson region to the eastern bank of the Dnipro River,” he said.
The occupation “administration” of Ukraine’s Kherson region began to evacuate the Russia-installed “state bodies” to Crimea, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) reported on Sunday.
