Families of mobilised men handed out venison in Yakutia
Families of the mobilised men from Russia’s Yakutia have received chunks of deer meat from the local authorities, says the administration of the Anabarsky District.
“The families of the mobilised were happy to receive humanitarian aid,” reads the statement.

Arktika, a reindeer farm that provided the venison, also said that the relatives of the mobilised men “were very happy” on its website.
The government of Tuva, another Russia’s republic, reported handing out coal and living sheep to the families of the mobilised in late September. Such measures were implemented to make people feel that “they will not be left alone to face the slings and arrows of life.”
Families of the mobilised in the Sakhalin region received five kg of fish each.
