Three people dead after shelling in Russia’s Belgorod Region
Three people are reported dead as a result of shelling in Shebekino, a town in Russia’s Belgorod region, located close to the Ukrainian border.
The region’s Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote that projectiles also damaged the roof and the heating system of a two-story apartment building. Windows were shattered in two neighboring apartment buildings. According to another media source, a local crystal shop, “Belogorie Crystal,” was also struck by projectiles.
Local Telegram channels are publishing videos from the site.

- Since October 20, the region is on “mid-level alert” under the Russian graduated martial law, which permits the regional authorities to relocate residents and limit their freedom of movement.
