Putin issues decree to grant veterans free land plots in Moscow region and Crimea

Vladimir Putin has signed a decree instructing authorities in the Moscow region, Crimea, and Sevastopol to pass legislation to grant plots of land to veterans of the war in Ukraine free of charge.

According to the document, which was published on Russia's official legal information portal, veterans who have received state awards as well as relatives of soldiers who died while fighting in Ukraine will be able to claim land.
