Kharkiv region authorities: one person killed, two injured in Russian shelling

One person was killed and two injured in Russia-conducted shelling of the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, head of the regional administration Oleh Synyehubov says.

The Kupianskyi and Chuhuivskyi districts of the region were shelled.

“Two people who were outside at the moment of the shelling were injured in the urban-type settlement Kivsharivka. A 57-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man. Both of them were hospitalised,” Synyehubov reports.

According to him, an educational institution building was damaged.

Furthermore, the city of Vovchansk was shelled. According to Synyehubov’s information, a shell hit a private building, killing a man.

In the city of Kupyansk, garages and two cars burnt down because of the shelling. In the urban-type settlement Dvorichna, a medical building was damaged.

The Khmelnytskyi region of Ukraine was shelled earlier today. Mayor of the city of Khmelnytskyi Oleksandr Symshyshyn said that two people had been injured.

According to him, three educational institutions, several hundred windows, a number of commercial objects, shops, cafes, and a civilian car were damaged.
