Ukraine’s Defence Minister: ‘total losses of Ukrainian military less than victims of Turkish earthquake’
Ukraine’s Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has spoken to Spanish newspaper La Razon and revealed that the overall losses of Ukraine’s military “are less than the number of victims of the earthquake in Turkey”.

“Of course we have losses since we’re at war. But those are critically lower than Russia’s.
I cannot state the exact number, but I can assure you that the overall losses are less than the number of victims that died in the Turkish earthquake. The thing is: our main goal is to save the lives of our servicemen, while Russia uses its men like cannon fodder,” Reznikov said.
The number of victims of the earthquake in Turkey peaked at 46 thousand people as of 5 March.
Classified Pentagon papers posted online have stated that Ukraine had suffered losses at between 124 and 131 thousand people, including 17.5 thousand KIA. American authorities stated earlier that the overall losses of Ukraine’s servicemen stand at around 100,000 servicemen.
