Five people killed in Kyiv after Russian missile debris falls on residential building
Five people have been killed as a result of a Russian missile debris falling on a multi-storey residential building in Kyiv, as per Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
“The operation on dealing with the aftermath of the Russian attack continues, rescuers are still operating in the damaged building. Five people are dead in the building hit by debris from a Russian missile,” Klitschko reports.

The Russian army shelled Kyiv in the early hours of 24 June after the head of PMC Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin had announced the start of a “justice march” on Moscow. Debris from one of the missiles hit the 16th floor of a multi-storey building in Kyiv, leading to a fire. The head of the military administration of the city clarified that the debris had fallen on a 24-storey building. Fires erupted on the 16th, 17th, and 18th floors, causing damage.
