Rostov-on-Don authorities say Wagner Group rebellion did more than $1 million of damage to city infrastructure
Wagner Group’s rebellion on June 24 caused at least 92.5 million rubles ($1.03 million) of damage to the city of Rostov-on-Don, the TV station RTVI reported on Monday, citing a report signed by the city’s mayor, Alexey Logvinenko.
According to the city authorities, Wagner Group military vehicles damaged 12,000 square meters (about 130,000 square feet) of roadway, 210 square meters (2260 square feet) of pavement, tram tracks, and five pieces of “specialized municipal equipment.”
