Russian forces carried out a strike on Kherson on the morning of Oct. 24, injuring more than 20 people and killing two, according to a report by Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.
A total of 21 people were wounded, including three children, the agency said. The regional military administration reported that apartment buildings and private homes were damaged in the attack.
The Korabelnyi District, located in the western part of the city, came under fire. The Telegram channel “From Mariupol to the Carpathians”, which is linked to Russian troops operating in the Kherson area, published footage of the strike. The channel claimed that the attack destroyed “UAV operator positions and active locations of airspace control systems.”
