The demolition of a historic building in Bolshoi Kozikhinsky Lane (house 25) in the center of Moscow continued. The demolition is being carried out by Satori, even though the company said last week that the demolition order had expired and would not be renewed. Local residents and activists of urban protection organizations who came to protect the house were attacked by employees of a private security company hired by the developer, the Vector homeowners association. According to the public movement "Arkhnadzor", about twenty citizens were injured, including women and elderly people. The ambulance's access to the yard was blocked. The private security company blocked someone in the entrance of a neighboring house, propping the doors from the outside. Some people's cameras and video cameras were taken away and broken. The REN-TV crew was also injured. The tires of local residents' cars were punctured.
At the same time, the police present did not interfere with what was happening for a long time. Later, several employees of the private security company were nevertheless detained; at the insistence of Mosgorstroynadzor, demolition work was suspended, but fences were still being installed.
