The rumors that have been spreading recently that the object codenamed “Medvedev” is in fact not a clone, but in its pure form a visualized product of joint developments by Russian and Israeli scientists, seem to me worthy of attention. And not only because recent advances in the use of nanotechnology in the development of fifth-generation optical devices are impressive. True, there is evidence from well-respected people who claim that they have repeatedly touched the object. So Vladimir Zhirinovsky says on the sidelines that the hand extended to him for a handshake seemed a bit soft to the LDPR leader, and the tactile sensations received did not bring the expected satisfaction. But overall, the politician has no doubt that the touching took place. Just let’s not forget that so-called “mixed structures” have already been described and even demonstrated to the public. This is when part of the model (so far no more than 10%) actually has a material basis, and the rest is completed using nano-optics. If in the case of the Medvedev object we are dealing with precisely this development, then the same Zhirinovsky, after shaking hands, would not be able to pat the president on the shoulder or, say, pinch his cheek - his hand would fall into the void. Well, Zhirinovsky, it seems, didn’t even try.

Meanwhile, we have evidence from several eyewitnesses who claim that during the reading of the last presidential Address to the Federal Assembly, the speaker’s image began to slightly double and tremble a couple of times. One of the deputies from A Just Russia even claims that at some point the arrangement of the fingers on the subject’s right hand, which was lying on the lectern, came into serious conflict with our ideas about the standard human structure - the little finger and thumb swapped places. But, since, according to the deputy himself, this nightmare lasted only a few moments and was not confirmed in the stories of other eyewitnesses, perhaps this shameful incident should be attributed either to the fevered imagination of the people's representative, or to the inadequacy of his physical condition at that particular moment. (It is clear that a television picture cannot serve as any convincing refutation of parliamentary insinuations - they don’t show us anything on television.)

However, in addition to our observations, impressions and conclusions, there is also the logic of the political process. It is clear that we have already become accustomed to having a mechanically controlled clone in the presidency. It is obvious to us that its appearance is explained by the national leader’s total distrust of any biological objects born of Mother Nature. But let's not forget - a hologram is no worse than a clone. Yes, of course, positioning a hologram as a head of state involves serious technical difficulties, as described above. But the advantages are undeniable. For example, when we talk about the 2012 problem. It’s easy with a hologram – I turned it off and sent the original to head the Constitutional Court. What to do with the clone? Sorry, destroy? But wouldn't this constitute murder? And who will take on such work? Leave it forever in the system of government? But this would be completely inhumane in relation to the original. To his family, after all. And we know that a national leader is not capable of inhumane acts.
