Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Andrei Denisov said that an investigation into the accusations of the former head of the US Federal Reserve System will be carried out, despite the fact that a number of documents presented in the report, according to the Russian side, are fakes. The diplomat cautiously noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not reject all of the data presented, but is in no hurry to agree with them until the investigation is completed and the sources are clarified. This is understandable: more than one high-ranking official is under threat of resignation.
