Thanks to Alexander Ryklin, as his note helps me scatter one possible misunderstanding.
In my article “Dilemma” I asked the question: what to do to the head of the Russian Federation, if we imagine what he received from the investigator on Kadyrov as on the customer of the murder of Natalia Estemirova (yes, by the way, any other murder - in Chechnya, Russia, Austria or the UAE - is it just the most echoing)?
For clarity, I focused on the question - what should you do, reader? What would you do personally if you were in the place of the President (Prime Minister) of the Russian Federation?
But there is one important detail here, which was distinguished by Ryklin.
What to do “I am Putin”, with all the features of his specific biography?
Or - what to do to any, abstract boss? “If it were not me, but the best, fair in the world, and I would be free ...”, etc.
So my question was, of course, to this abstract situation.
Because there is no question about the specific situation with Putin-Medvedev. They obviously never “surrender” Kadyrov. “Version - Kadyrov” is declared unacceptable. So what to argue about?
And to argue, in my opinion, there is something.
What is more expensive: political expediency or law?
The question is banal, eternal, but not at all abstract.
To take responsibility for a new war (the big risk of such a war) - or take responsibility for violating the law and encouraging new crimes?
In any case, the journalist does not take responsibility for himself - and the ruler is forced to take.
By the way, to the question "So what to do?" Mr. Ryklin never answered.
