“The overwhelming majority of delegates reacted positively to the calls for reconciliation made in the reports,” Archpriest Viktor Potapov, chairman of the editorial board for publishing the Acts of the Council, told RIA Novosti. After the speech of Metropolitan Amphilochius (the only delegate of the Council who does not belong to the ROCOR - “EZh”), who reminded that faith and the desire for unity should be above politics, the delegates gave a standing ovation. Perhaps the Council’s resolution on relations with the Church in the Fatherland will be adopted this evening.
