According to some reports, Mikhail Khodorkovsky is undergoing quarantine in a Saratov prison. There is reason to believe that he will serve his sentence in one of the surrounding colonies. Meanwhile, according to Kommersant, among the colonies, in fact, a struggle has already begun for the honor of housing the former tycoon for the remainder of his term. It's not a matter of curiosity, of course. It’s just that the prison authorities hope that Khodorkovsky’s arrival will significantly improve the local investment climate. And they are, without a doubt, right.
