The discussion about whether the Russian people are worthy of freedom is being conducted for a long time. However, the trivial thesis is quite a trivial thesis that the millennial slavery is more irreparable (at least for a long time) distorted the mentality of all people living on one sixth of the land and made them unsuitable for the positive development of democratic conquests, now, it seems, reached the peak of its popularity. In private conversations, various representatives of our new elite (even from business, even from power) have repeatedly expressed a convenient and simple thought: controlled democracy is the only model of relations between the state and society for Russia. What for us for now (especially the hypocritical “so far” touches me) liberal values cannot be the foundation on which the building of the new Russian state will be able to build. That the modernization of the Russian people must be “imposed”. How to impose? So it is known as: with the help of a whip and a carrot. But, given the same mentality, the whip, of course, should be more than the gingerbread.
It is clear that publicly such ideas people, clothed with power, usually do not express. Yes, they are not up to conversations. They do the job: they turn Russia into a unitary state, build a controlled political system, destroy the election institution, destroy any opposition that is not subject to them in the root, establish total control over the media, etc. And why this is the best that our people worthy is explained by different local intellectuals, whose views somehow accidentally became an ideological basis, a moral justification for what is happening in Russia. A third -party observer, having listened, for example, half an hour of Andrei Konchalovsky, can decide that the famous filmmaker is the spiritual shepherd of Vladimir Putin. That the Russian president, before he was anointed by Yeltsin to the kingdom, spent many nights in conversations with Andrei Sergeyevich, dropping his ideas by drop. What exactly then he learned: with us, dark, it is impossible differently. And this democracy is not at all a panacea from all troubles, society can be arranged on other principles. For example, on the principles of an enlightened dictatorship, when the vector of movement of the country is determined by a narrow group of persons. And the fact that this type of government sometimes acquires some kind of very ugly forms is also easily explained. What did you want? Tea, we live in Russia.
In fact, it seems to me that everything happened exactly in the reverse order: at first the country began to roll up into asphalt, and then representatives of the creative intelligentsia were found, very convincingly proving to us that she was there the place there. Recently, discussions on this subject have acquired special acuity. It even seems that the thesis about the “special path” of Russia is gradually beginning to acquire the form of a national idea.
Is the harm to a modern civilized society, where one of the most famous people (I mean all the same Konchalovsky) allows themselves to say that the people who make up this very society are not able to "make a conscious choice." I dare to assume that in any normal country, such a person would be subjected to immediate and rigid obstruction. However, I am not going to tear my shirt on my chest and rush to protect my people. I just want to restore some causal relationships.
It is clear that today in Russia the discrediting of democratic values is an important and probably well -paid mission. She, I repeat, brings an ideological base under the action of the authorities to establish a full-fledged nomenclature and oligarchic dictatorship in our country. Now a simple question is: and we, ordinary citizens of Russia, agree with the role assigned to us? Well, at least those who do not believe in the fairy tale that under the vigilant supervision of a big brother we will soon arrange a happy life here? Or maybe it is worth shake and look at things with a sober look, not stupefied by empty and banal conversations about the “millennial slavery”? Because these are all techniques of the same order: round -the -clock Petrosyan on all channels, the eternal criminal horror on NTV, blooming crooks telling us about the “special Eurasian path of the Russian people”, which is also not able to “make a conscious choice”. These are all such diverse psychotherapeutic measures. And they are used for one purpose - to introduce us all into a state of deep trance. For what? It is so clear why: to conjure corny. Climb into us sleepy in your pocket and pull out the last money from there. It is old as the world of thieves' reception - while one is powdering your brains, the other is cleaning your pockets. So our authorities did not invent anything new. She simply developed a set of measures with which you can quickly stir that which has not yet been stolen without fear of special protests from the public.
Therefore, when the next time you listen to Konchalovsky (well, or someone like Konchalovsky), remember: he simply distracts your attention. That is, while he says, you are robbed.
Of course, at some point you will recover and begin to be indignant. Then you will be driven into a concentration camp, and Konchalovsky (well, or someone like Konchalovsky) will be explained in Paris in Paris by local left intellectuals, which could not happen otherwise in Russia. “Wild, you know, people. What do you want? Millennial slavery. "
