All-Russian public organization "
Voice of Beslan"within the next two days will submit an application to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation demanding to interrogate the former President of the Russian Federation, current Prime Minister Vladimir Putin as a witness in the case of the terrorist attack in the Beslan school in September 2004. The organization is confident that Putin is personally responsible for the storming of the school. This decision was a response to Putin's interview with the French newspaper Le Monde. In particular, the Voice of Beslan is outraged by Putin's words that the storming of the school was carried out correctly, that negotiations were not held with terrorists and that concessions should not be made to terrorists. Vladimir Putin said to the newspaper, among other things: “We could count on more efficient activities of our special units. But the fact that we had to stop attempts to destabilize the country is absolutely obvious, and any country in the world, as soon as it makes concessions to terrorists, ultimately suffers greater losses than those that arise during special operations." In " The Voice of Beslan is confident that it is possible to say that the security forces acted correctly only after an investigation, and, according to the victims, a full-fledged investigation of the Beslan tragedy was not carried out. The organization is convinced that Putin’s statement “gives him away”, proving that that he personally led the entire operation. "Voice of Beslan" is also collecting documents to the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia with a demand to initiate a criminal case against Vladimir Putin.
