FSKN director Viktor Ivanov said that Zelenina, “being the head of the department of chemical research at the Penza Agricultural Institute, without having the authority to do so, presented expert opinions without conducting examinations of the item itself, which contained drugs,” RIA Novosti reports.

At the same time, the Moscow City Court, which had previously overturned the decision to arrest Zelenina and sent her case for a new trial, also overturned the decision to arrest businessman Sergei Shilov, whom Zelenina, according to investigators, helped transport drugs in a batch of confectionery poppy seeds.
