For fidelity!

With great joy and sincerely, I congratulate all members of the editorial board of my beloved newspaper, and especially the chief editor, Boris Evgenievich Stern, with the award of the “For Fidelity of Science” in the nomination “Best Printed Media about Science”! Although two weeks have passed since then, I am still in a joyful, raised mood. For almost seven years, I have been reading and morally supporting my beloved newspaper, I have been waiting for a long time that her merits would be marked, and finally waited. Getting a bonus, and even from the hands of the minister himself is a great honor!

Of course, as always, there were envious people and spitens who began to delve into unnecessary details. They found that one office received more than 40 million rubles for the organization of this award, while the winners reached less than one percent of this amount. And, of course, it began: “Huge money is allocated to the pompous ceremony!” - And everything is like that.

Only, colleagues, please do not pay attention to this nagging of envious and spitens! In the crisis, spectacular and spiritual events are especially important, since people need not only bread. Well, would there be some benefit if these unfortunate millions were allowed to be pennies to our grants? No one would have noticed this, and so we received a spiritual spectacle, honoring worthy people! And immediately in the soul became warmer.

Again, we all know and respect high -level officials, ministers, members of regional governments. But this respect cannot exist indefinitely in itself, it is necessary to push it, giving high leaders in the correct, positive context. The people need to constantly see that ministers and officials work for his good, not fingering their hands, to see how they meet respected people and honor them. And it is important that the agenda is positive, since all the talk about the crisis and anti -Maidan in large quantities only evoke longing.

Agree, colleagues, no money is sorry for such money. So once again I congratulate you on a joyful event. Keep it up!

But my thoughts, of course, are spinning not only around this joyful event, I thought about how correctly the prize is called. More precisely, how accurately the right idea is captured! The keyword is fidelity. Here it is, that quality that must be supported in every way in our difficult historical conditions.

We all work for the good of the Motherland, and those who do not flutter from place to place in search of momentary benefits, who do not seek to find work on the territory of a potential enemy - all these people demonstrate fidelity. Fidelity to his country, his institute, his laboratory, his superiors, finally.

So, it is necessary to develop a whole system of bonuses and awards, which will stimulate fidelity to both micro and macro levels. And all this should be built into the system from top to bottom. He worked, for example, a person in one place, in one laboratory for 10 years - he needs to declare gratitude for the loyalty of the laboratory, award a letter and pay a bonus of 10 thousand rubles. The researcher is engaged in the 20 years of the same topic - you should award him a valuable gift for fidelity to the chosen scientific direction and pay a bonus of 20 thousand rubles. If the employee has worked at his institute for 30 years, then he needs to give the medal “For Fragrant Fible for this” and pay a bonus of 30 thousand rubles. Well and so on.

Of course, the regional, district and general Federal selection of the most faithful should be carried out. There must be large -scale award ceremonies broadcast on regional and national television. A kind of cult of fidelity must be created. Fidelity to the country, the party, the national leader should become our highest virtue, one might say, by our honor.
