Ex-YUKOS lawyer Svetlana Bakhmina was sent to serve her sentence in Mordovia. The lawyers found out about this “in person” by coming to the Moscow pre-trial detention center in Pechatniki, where Bakhmina was being held. “She was transported, as we learned, back on October 20, but on Friday we came to the pre-trial detention center and they didn’t tell us anything,” said lawyer Olga Kozyreva. Svetlana Bakhmina's relatives learned about everything from the defenders. The lawyers intend to challenge the authorities' decision, which, however, after the transfer of Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev, can hardly be called unexpected.
