Human rights activists. Humanists. Democrats. Leftists. “Useful idiots,” as Lenin brilliantly called them.

It is difficult to say to what extent they themselves are hidden anti-Semites. This is a purely individual matter; there is no general rule. But in words, of course, they vehemently deny even a hint of such dirt. Only humanism - nothing personal. Humanism, pure as “a child’s tear.” Moreover, the Palestinians professionally trade in the tears of their children (those whom they did not sell as martyrs - however, these corpses will also do, why not withdraw money twice from one product?), and the Jews for some reason disdain such trade.

The European left-wing democratic human rights activist MUST profess several dogmas. He has to - otherwise he won’t be able to make a party career (and there is no other way) either in the humanities, or in the media, or in literature (with the exception of a few “right-wing septic tanks”, where fierce competition reigns).

He must be: anti-American, anti-globalist, anti-capitalist, anti-nationalist, pacifist. He must proceed from the presumption of innocence of drug addicts, pederasts, criminals, especially hooligan demonstrators, and journalists. He must proceed from the presumption of guilt - the police, the priests, representatives of the ruling classes, the military. He is obliged to sympathize with a black man in a conflict with a white man, a teenager (or a gang of them) in a conflict with an adult, a Chechen against a Russian, an Arab against a native European, Palestine against Israel. True, while fighting xenophobia, he is obliged to also sharply condemn anti-Semitism - which he, of course, does. But it is easy and pleasant to condemn WHITE anti-Semitism in Europe, and even better in some unpleasant country like Russia. As for “black” anti-Semitism - Arab, Negro, Chechen, etc., its condemnation is painful for human rights activists - like drinking castor oil. After all, here two axioms collide: “the humiliated and insulted are always right” and “anti-Semitism is always bad.” An insoluble dilemma! It is more prudent not to touch on this topic... He finds himself in an even more difficult position when “internal” clashes occur between Arabs, blacks, etc. - Who is to blame here?! Therefore, he avoids these unpleasant topics or describes them in terms of a “humanitarian catastrophe”, like an earthquake for which no one is to blame - this is not Israeli, or American, or Russian aggression... AND MILLIONS of inhabitants of the “third world” who exterminated each other in continuous “conflicts” (a million people died in the Iran-Iraq war) evoke hundreds of times less emotion than the 1,000 militants “and civilians” now killed in Gaza.

But what he definitely must do is hate the imperialism of the USA, China (for Tibet) and Russia, personally Bush and Putin. He still perceives Obama as the Savior of America, but even Obama does not give him the opportunity to reconcile with America. And most of all, of course, he hates HIS bourgeois government. He is obliged to despise patriotism - the last refuge of scoundrels (if some rudiments of this shameful feeling are stirring in his soul, then let them remain in his soul). He knows for sure that his France (England-Italy-Germany-Switzerland) is not only developing incorrectly, but has long crossed the last line and is on the edge of an abyss, or rather, is flying into this abyss. Exactly this knowledge feeds him for years - for stories about the final death of Western capitalism, he receives a salary and fees, from which, as befits a decent citizen, he accurately and accurately pays taxes (which is quite offensive: why throw money into that very abyss?).

At the same time, in everyday life he is not particularly eager (except for very large originals) to communicate with representatives of humiliated and insulted peoples and, as a rule, goes to a seminar in Bologna to discuss the suffering of Chechens or Palestinians much more willingly than directly to Gaza or Grozny.

By the way, his brothers in mind on the other side of the Atlantic, the American left-wing intellectuals, are in exactly the same mood. It’s just that in the USA their influence - outside of universities - is limited (one of the main reasons to hate America!), but Europe is occupied by left-wing intellectuals, like Gaza by Hamas. And she continuously fires her virtual kasamas at all the addresses she hates, although, as befits kasamas, inaccurately.

It is clear that there are a lot of Jews among Western leftists. That is, the Jewish intelligentsia is generally left-wing, the only place where part of it shows weakness is when it comes to Israel... And even then, many rise to the occasion, above nationalist prejudices - and are the first to bravely rush to curse the cruel Zionists who dare not to rejoice that in Kasamas are flying over them. Many Jews, to the disgusted amazement of the Arabs, find themselves literally in the forefront of anti-Israeli demonstrations. Among them there are truly outstanding monsters worthy of a cabinet of curiosities, for example, Israel Shamir, famous among Russian anti-Semites (however, not only human rights activists, but even Palestinians, disdain him). And recently I really liked the statement of a member of the British House of Commons, Kaufman, who said that his grandmother was killed by the Germans in Warsaw, and now Jews are killing “Arab grandmothers” in the same way. Of course, it’s always interesting - is it purely business or really sick? For example, if in his district there are many Pakistani and Arab voters, but few Jews, then the gamble is clear. I am far from a total condemnation of human rights activists. Their narrow-mindedness, duplicity, conformism, and often self-interest are no worse and no better than the same qualities in right-wing conservatives, and indeed in a variety of people. In general, whether they are “idiots” or not, their activities are undoubtedly useful, and not only to terrorists and criminals, but, oddly enough, to their victims too - albeit after some time.

Human rights activists really contribute to the global warming of morals. Yes, the war in Iraq is being fought with much more concern for the local population than the war in Vietnam or Algeria. And this is largely the result of that same political correctness. But even though there are far fewer victims than there were before, this does not mean that we should not talk about “unnecessary victims”—probably we should. It would be nice to do this without hysteria, but with a minimal understanding of what war is in general. Yes, torture in Guantanamo, I dare say, is a cream cake compared to what happened in French Guiana 60 years ago, not to mention the Gulag or Auschwitz. But this does not mean that these tortures are not worth talking about. Costs.

Or the abolition of the death penalty. I feel in my heart - stupidity, injustice, hypocrisy. Well, where do you put all these maniacs, terrorists and just repeat killers? It’s a long, special conversation, but all the arguments of opponents of execution, in my opinion, do not stand up to the slightest criticism. But even though I understand it in my heart - it’s nonsense, I recognize it in my mind - yes, it’s too much, yes, it’s stupidity, it’s demagoguery. But demagoguery, which still “in general” works to soften morals. And not only in relation to murderers, but, probably, in general - in relation to the value of human life, etc. True, the morals of the murderers and maniacs themselves, if they soften, are somehow very imperceptible...

But if globally human rights activists are more likely to be right than wrong, then with regard to Israel their position is not just stupid. She is downright criminal. In this case (and frankly, I think in many others) they are unconscious (and some conscious) accomplices of the murderers. Not lawyers, but precisely accomplices, the fifth column of terrorists. Moreover, they PROVOKE murder with their sniffling noses and slapping tongues.

This is obvious. The terror would have at least fizzled out, and maybe even ended, if there were no Sympathetic spectators. Even an ordinary martyr understands this, and the merchants of martyrdoms simply work “under the camera.” The connection between the number of murders and the degree of “public sympathy” is clear and direct. The burning tears of right-left defenders are pure gasoline in the fire of terror.

Of course, the sympathy of the Arab street for the murderers seems to be guaranteed in any case, regardless of the position of left-wing intellectuals.

But, firstly, everyone is responsible FOR THEMSELVES. The tear of a human rights activist even slightly ignites the fire of war - that’s his PERSONAL fault.

Secondly, the Arab street and its leaders also count on the support of the Western press. By the way, all Arab anti-Semitic literature is just a translation of the corresponding German books, articles, etc. Not a single thought of your own. But it’s not just the Nazis who exert cultural influence—leftist intellectuals too. Moreover, the Arabs easily ignore the fact that they are “against anti-Semitism” (they are lying! Who could be AGAINST anti-Semitism?!), but the fact that they condemn Israel encourages the Palestinians, just as a football player is encouraged by the roar of a stadium.

If Israel had support (at least neutrality) from the Western media, I am sure that the wave of terror would fall lower and the end of the conflict would be possible. Two words about Russian human rights activists.

This is a mixed type.

With regard to the policies of Russia and Putin, they strictly follow the canons of their Western colleagues. Moreover, they are completely in line with the Western mainstream when it comes (was) to Chechnya. Of course, their criticism of SPECIFIC war crimes in Chechnya is useful and necessary - but I would like more objectivity in understanding what the “defenders of free Ichkeria” did. But today, human rights activists in Russia are undoubtedly doing useful things: for example, helping to humanize our prisons, and fighting hazing as best they can. Their Western colleagues don’t do anything like that—they don’t have the same problems. Therefore, Western human rights activists are more occupied with Guantanamo and Gaza...

But let's return to Israel. In this matter, our human rights defenders are sharply different from the Western counterparts (Ms. Sannikova, judging by the text-a reference Western human rights activist, is a rare exception). And the point is not only that many of the Russian human rights defenders are Jews. Western Jews-lawyers, I repeat once again, often rush to Israel in front of everyone.
