The President of Chechnya cannot be a person under 30 years of age. Ramzan Kadyrov will reach his thirtieth birthday only in October of this year, but some citizens of the republic, apparently, cannot bear it. Magomed Vakhaev proposed amending the constitution so that Kadyrov could run for office now if something happened. However, the prime minister did not like the idea of changing the constitution: “We already have a current president. And there is no reason to bring up proposals of this kind for discussion.”
