Prices of Russian shares rose today against the backdrop of positive macroeconomic data for the United States, reducing the likelihood of a new Fed rate hike. As a result of trading, the RTS index increased by 0.52% to 212.99 points. Trading volume on the RTS amounted to about $22 million, which is $1.5 million lower than yesterday's level. According to one of the traders, “the majority of operators believe that the market should go up, and as soon as it became clear that the fall was not going well, some traders began to buy.”
