The law on protecting the feelings of believers has not yet come into force, and believers are already lining up to be insulted.
Moreover, contrary to expectations, it is not only Orthodox activists who are offended, for whom the law was written (besides, of course, Putin, who had to be protected from all sorts of “Pussy Riots” in the future).
“Moidodyr” was published in Rostov, and the vigilant Muslim comrades immediately became tense. In the picture, the crocodile was holding in its paws a page with some scribbles, which believers mistook for a page from the Koran! And they immediately provided a powerful ideological justification for why it was not appropriate for a crocodile to walk around with the Koran in its paw, and even torn into pages. They also found the mufti, who unmistakably recognized the sacred text in the abracadabra in the picture.
The publishing house, out of sin (in every sense), apologized, promised to correct itself and give credit to the artist who expressed herself so strangely in the drawing for Chukovsky’s work. Although, in my opinion, this page in a crocodile’s paw could just as easily be considered torn from some Hindu text. But in reality, these are just scribbles...
And so I thought. A true believer cannot be offended, because his faith and his religious feelings are much stronger than the machinations of some mocking gentlemen. And it is not so much the believers who feel offended as the paranoid.
It turns out that deputies will now pass a law to protect paranoids. Well, Putin, of course.
