The story with the egregious demarche of the President of Bashkiria, Murtazi Rakhimov, clearly illustrates the indisputable fact - the Putin Fairy, speaking in modern language, Vladimir Vladimirovich threw banally. Until midnight, it seems, to live and live (here are the gold and foreign exchange reserves again, they say, replenish), and the dress of the national leader has already turned into rags. And the gilded carriage is about to turn into pumpkin. (Imagine a national leader traveling from Novo-Ogorev to the White House in a vegetable ... What a horror ...) However, wizards may have their own ideas about the course of time-it seems to us that the sun is shining in the yard, and after their hour it has already come. We just don’t notice this yet. And on the other hand, a noticeably deteriorating economic situation in the country, working riots, savage the once obedient and loyal vassals - what is not a sure sign of the advancing great darkness?

I do not feel any warm feelings for Murtaz Gubaidullovich Rakhimov. I have been in Bashkiria many times, met there with a variety of people and have no illusions about the political regime that has been building Rakhimov for almost twenty years. As, in fact, everywhere in Russia this is the regime of absolute power, monstrous corruption, outright cumulates, cynical ignoring the rights of citizens and total suppression of their freedoms. (It is enough to recall the story with the battered city of Blagoveshchensk). In a word, whoever does not try to fashion the image of the Bashkir president as a fighter for democratic values, nothing will come of this venture. There is, as they say, the history of the question. However, this statement does not cancel the obvious fact in any way - all the reproaches expressed by Rakhimov in an interview with the Moscow Komsomolsalz, both to the federal center and to United Russia are absolutely fair. They are so fair that they are even funny to discuss them.

However, the intrigue of this court conflict is not in the accusatory pathos of the trivial revelations of the member of the Supreme Political Council of the United Russia party. (I hope I did not confuse anything in the name of this marvelous organ?) And not even in Rakhimov’s motivation. In the end, what is the case with you, did Rakhimov decide to farewell to slap the door or, conversely, tries to protect himself and his family (for example, the son of the Urals, who actually controlled the entire TEC of the republic a few years ago) from the post-consulting persecution? Perhaps even criminal. Rakhimov perfectly understands: the loud anti -corruption campaign with the involvement of the "political heavyweights" of the first row is an excellent anti -crisis measure. Even the hungry for a while will be distracted from their pressing problems. However, now any actions against the Rakhimov family will look like revenge, as accounting. (True, if the motivation of a scandalous interview is really like that, it seems to me quite naive to me - who, when this kind of considerations were stopped in today's Russia? Putin's falcons, like Vladimir Vladimirovich himself, are too late to worry about their own image. Nothing threatens their reputation). The intrigue in another is in the reaction of the federal center. Well, that is - Vladimir Putin.

Putin does not have a good solution to the problem of Rakhimov. But this is still half -worn. Putin does not seem to have bad solutions to this problem. It seems that it is necessary to immediately apply a counterattack - to drive out of the party and remove from his post. It seems that it is simply impossible to do otherwise, otherwise everyone will understand that there is no pile of broken brick from the notorious vertical. But in order to carry out such actions, it is necessary to have a political resource. Including inside the republic. There should be people on whom the Kremlin could rely on a situation of political crisis. But there are no opposition for obvious reasons in Bashkortostan. (And where would she come from?). The appointed appointments to different positions (for example, the Republican prosecutor and the head of the local Ministry of Internal Affairs) do not solve the problem - they are not alien people and do not enjoy any authority in Bashkiria. And the current position of Rakhimov inside his own republic does not at all look like a swan song of lame duck. On the contrary, “public forces” rose to his defense. Even the local branch of United Russia made the unambiguous support of its leader. And what to dissolve it now? But representatives of this party occupy almost all places in the local parliament. That is, today Rakhimov will not be difficult, for example, to initiate the resumption of the discussion in the Bashkir society about the insufficient sovereignty of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Moreover, it is precisely within the walls of the main republican legislative body. And if he has already agreed on his actions with the President of Tatarstan Shaimiev, who will also be happy to use the obvious weakening of the Kremlin. Because when, if not now?

All of the above does not mean at all that Putin will not drive Rakhimov from the party and will not remove him from the position of president. Maybe he will drive out, he can remove it. But the consequences of such steps today is completely impossible to predict. In my opinion, they can be very dramatic and in its importance far beyond the problems of one individual region.

So far, in my opinion, Putin has not decided what to do with Rakhimov. To release - sign in your own impotence and wait for the wave of new demarchees from other vassals. Squeeze - wake up the most powerful volcano. While Putin is waiting. "What?" - You ask. Well, probably, the beautiful prince, who will burst into the courtyard of his Novo-Ogarevsky cottage on a white horse, will kneel down in front of him and put a crystal shoe on a miniature premiere leg. And at the same moment the clouds dissipate, and everything around shines with beautiful light. Rakhimov will say that he was joking and will go to the Orthodox monastery, Deripaska will forgive all his debts in the West, oil prices will fly up to $ 1,000 per barrel, Schroeder will again choose German chancellor, etc. etc. And we will heal again as before.

But Putin hopes in vain. There will be no prince.
