But everything is clear with him: this is a double portion of nostalgia, on the one hand - post -Soviet abandonment, on the other, memories of how cool it was to play in the first part. But about Stray, you should tell a little more.

So you are a cat. You can even scratch furniture! And your adventures will unfold among wires and neon signs, because the cat are a vagrant, and the case happens in a recent cyberpunk future.

The role of an inhuman agent (not a fighter of Yakuza and not a hacker) who is friends with a little drone that helps him is a great opportunity to look at the usual and, I must admit, a little already fed up atmosphere. We can say literally: you have not yet seen the future from such an angle. True, the game still has one minus. So far, this is an exclusive PlayStation 5, so the rest of the gamers will have to wait (and, possibly, an unofficial port).

The story about how humanity lives its days after an epidemic of a fungal disease, which turns the zombies infected with a kind. “Oh, no, we had enough endless soap opera“ Walking Dead ”,” you may say. And it becomes especially difficult when you understand that the most gloomy things happen to the heroes not because they are surrounded by the reservoir of the fading world, but because they are still one of us, the same people with their shortcomings.

The idea that the destructive offensive of the future will greatly hit animals is long familiar to the authors arguing about the prospects of the anthropocal world. It is enough to recall the name of Philip K. Dick's story “Whether the Androids dream of electric sheep”, which served as a prototype for the “Running Blade”. Or that the horses disappeared that in the world of Neuromant, William Gibson.

But this year we will have many opportunities to look at what is happening through the eyes of the dying species themselves. You can, of course, rotate that Ending is just “ Shelter in the post -apocalypse”, where instead of Kabanikha you play for a fox, and instead of hawks, people in radiological protection costumes hunt for your cubs. But I think we will find a worthy game.

Now, after his departure from the company, the WeWork position has been a little strengthened, so the story happened. It is quite worthy of the fact that her main character is played by Jared Leto.
