The opposition, as promised, began to hold rallies on Triumphal Square in Moscow every Tuesday. On October 18, 29 people were detained there - members of the Other Russia, Solidarity, Defense, and civil activists. 27 of them were released, two were kept overnight, the latter were charged with disobedience to a police officer.
Among the detainees was a minor, Arseny Kolbasov, who from the police department went by ambulance to the Sklifosovsky Institute. The representative of the Other Russia, Alexander Averin, told Interfax that Kolbasov was severely beaten during his arrest, so he needed medical help. Kolbasov was left at the Sklifosovsky Institute for two days.
Meanwhile, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow claims that Kolbasov simply had a stomach ache when he was at the Tverskoy police station. An ambulance was called for him, and the doctors who arrived decided to hospitalize him.
