The amendment was introduced by State Duma deputy from the Rodina faction Alexander Krutov. Religious organizations had tax benefits before - property used for religious activities was exempt from tax. Now it is proposed to exempt from tax all property used for statutory purposes. The charter allows religious organizations to engage in business, and, by the way, they are already exempt from VAT on the production of goods. But now is the time to demand more: all religious organizations, as one, behaved so “correctly” during the anti-Georgian bacchanalia - but where is the encouragement?
