Methods of reprisal

On February 1, an attack was carried out on former police major Alexei Dymovsky, who became famous (and fired) after a video message to Prime Minister Vladimir Putin with a complaint against his superiors. Dymovsky has since formed the White Ribbon movement to fight corruption.

The attack occurred in a minibus on the road from Anapa to Novorossiysk. Dymovsky suffered a traumatic brain injury. Blogs report that he is in Novorossiysk, where he is trying to file a report with the local police. During the attack, his mobile phone disappeared. Apparently, Dymovsky was not attacked for the purpose of robbery.
