On August 22, the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow recognized as legal the decision of the Ministry of Justice to refuse registration of the People's Freedom Party (PARNAS), leaving the complaint of representatives of the unregistered party unsatisfied. PARNAS lawyer Vadim Prokhorov said that he will file a cassation appeal, and if it is not satisfied, he will go to the European Court of Human Rights.

Meanwhile, one of the co-chairs of PARNAS, Boris Nemtsov, headed the organizing committee of a “non-trivial group of citizens” that decided to create the movement “naKh-naKh: Vote against everyone” for campaigning ahead of the Duma elections on December 4.
