The Moscow City Hall refused to coordinate the action against political repression and human rights violations. The organizers planned to hold a rally on November 24 in Novopushkinsky Square in support of those imprisoned in the case of the mass riots on May 6. The motive of the capital’s authorities is beautiful in its own way: the action against political repression cannot be agreed upon, since Russian legislation “does not contain norms containing coercive measures taken by the state for political reasons.” There’s not even anything to comment on here.
