The group “The People’s Militia of the Donbass” created by VKontakte and numbering about 71,000 subscribers, explains in detail how you can become a militia of the People’s Army of Strelkov. It was this record in the public that was created on March 13, under it more than 3,000 comments. Many of them are “applications” of Russian volunteers with a detailed description of their combat experience. There I found Sergey. He was looking for fellow travelers from St. Petersburg, so that, having united with them, to get to Rostov and cross the border together. I wrote to him and asked for a meeting. Two days later, he replied that he was happy to talk with me. He had only four days left for this: he was supposed to cross the border on the night of June 28. The next day we met in one of the cafe in St. Petersburg. In front of me was a calm, well -dressed man.

I made the final decision after I saw on TV shots with a wounded boy who was in the Slavyansk hospital. This record was shown for a long time. Of course, I understand that correspondents do not eat their bread just like that. They masterfully captured the suffering of the child and that look ... All this, of course, finished off me. Frankly, before that there was a desire to just come to visit the guys from Ukraine and see with your own eyes what was happening there. But after that reporting, I clearly realized that I would not go to the central part of Ukraine, but to the eastern one. And I will go with a specific purpose.

I began to look for ways. At first these were public, calls by phone to friends, so that they would learn only from their friends. After all, all this is not advertised. In any case, for now. I had to spend about four days to find reliable contacts. When I found the first contacts and tried to contact the right people, it seemed very suspicious to me what I heard. At the same time, the guys began to say that some volunteers, especially those who go in small groups, fall a little in the wrong hands. It is no longer a secret that in Russia there are people who collect information on us and sell Ukrainians. But later I found a 100 % reliable option. In addition to public channels, I also learned from my friends. After some time, a man from Rostov contacted me, who explained that information came to him through such people. Then I found out that it was my search chain. Next, I was already brought with a person from Strelkov’s closest encirclement.

In Russia, only Russian people are engaged in a set of volunteers. But starting from Rostov and in the direction of Ukraine, it is already organized from them , because there is a direct connection. And people are purposefully only doing this. As far as I know, sending there are two times, a maximum of three days. This is often enough, but, however, the groups are small. The day before yesterday I learned that for some reason our group was united with another in Rostov, so there will be 12 people at once.

After crossing the border, we do not need anything, we have all our own. Only cartridges will be given.

So far, it was possible to safely go through some checkpoints, people were carried out not in groups, but singlely and without special equipment. All the others were carried out by plus minus10 qahm of the checkpoint. Our group will go the same, because we are going with means of communication, and with the means of detection, and partially armed. Just the other day, he contacted the conductor with whom we will cross the border, he says that the FSB is wrapping a lot of Russian volunteers. The weapon itself will be delivered to us to the border from the Russian side. It is worth saying right away that this weapon is completely ours. From the group in which I go, there are guys who have passed almost all hot spots in army special forces. These are their channels. And they use them. That is, after crossing the border, we do not need anything, we have all our own. Only cartridges will be given.

People are self -organized. And, by the way, it is not so easy to get to the militias. There are several publics where there is a preliminary worthy of those who expressed a desire to go. Databases are available. Therefore, you can always understand, a person says to the truth or lies. The base of the Ministry of Defense, although old, but in principle, is quite affordable. The guys from the headquarters said that they were screening up to 70%. The selection criteria are tough, but for me it is still not very clear. I was told that the militias are taken only from 20 years, but still the bulk of the most - people who are over 30. In my group the youngest is 34 years old. I am the oldest, I am 43. In addition, first of all, people with military experience are needed: at least full possession of everything that is needed there. This is not even discussed. For example, the guy writes that he was 25 years old, did not serve in the army. Well, everything is obvious here. They will not take him.

Perhaps this is required in order to minimize losses. We need professionals or people with military experience who would come and in a day or two remembered how what is being done. The first time under fire, in fact, is very scary. Independent people can make an irreparable mistake. I very often saw the “friendly fire” and how the unsettled guys died because of the banal stupidity. Incorrect movement, queue. All. There is no person.

I myself have served seven years in a foreign legion. Plus, urgent service, after the service, a contract and another one and a half years old riot police. As part of the Legion, I went to Iraq, Syria. These countries are always restless. The tribes are fighting with each other. And the authorities, in principle, are not there. We just maintained order. At one time I wanted to stay in riot police, but after some time I realized that this was completely not mine. When he came to them in the 1990s, we were actively involved in the acceleration of rallies. It was enough for me literally three times to understand that I can’t do this anymore. As I remember now: the area of ​​the uprising, there are grandfather with my grandmother in front of me, one has all the chest in the orders and the other has all the chest in the orders. And we are fully equipped: body armor, spheres, special equipment. We even “Kalashnikovs” were given to us. And I thought: "Well, who will I disperse?" He failed and went to the sidewalk. Then he wrote a dismissal report.

We are going to fight not for the independence of the republics.

But it is worth saying that in fact I am not a professional military. I can do something, something has gone. There is combat experience. And in principle, even with active attacks, if you exclude air, I can hold out for six months.

If you touch on the motivation of people who go to Slavyansk with me, then I will be honest: we are going to fight not for the independence of the republics. I do not think that this is my business, who has some addiction or independence. But what I hear from the people who came to power in Kyiv ... Well, if you say a manly, I would have heard this in this bar-a person would go to the hospital. They tried to convince me that they do not oppress the Russians in Ukraine. But after Odessa there was only one question: "How now?" They told me that they have crowds of youngsters in camouflage and with bats there through the streets. In principle, they do not care who. This whole crowd reaches a certain mood, and as soon as it comes across the first unionate - that's it. Well, or if he speaks Russian, and not in Ukrainian and does not support their nationalist cries. I know perfectly our Zenit club. My son played at Zenit in the youngest composition. I understand everything: the fans drank beer, shouted, elapsed, beat someone's face, defeated a couple of windows. I understand everything. But when it is for almost six months and this is the official policy of the authorities ... I want to break this situation. At least try. But I can’t change something globally, I can only change something in place, so that some are firing at others, because, I think, with my arrival, the number of warring on the other side will decrease.

There is only one way: while the anti -terrorist group is not to be put on the head, nothing will change. It is necessary to ensure that they suffer the first serious defeat. Having knocked out the equipment, do not solve anything. It is necessary to knock out manpower. As soon as from 500 to 1000 dies within one day, everything will stop at once. There will be Hasavyurt or something like that only in Ukraine. By any means, war will be stopped. Russia will not officially fit. It was originally clear. Only on their own. But at the moment, alas, there is not enough strength. And it's not even the number of people. While the air is completely Ukrainian, it is unrealistic to win. I understand that it may seem to someone that in such a situation go there in a sense is absurd. But we must try not to come in, let at least the cities are kept.

With my arrival, the number of warriors on the other side will decrease.

People go there to victory, but there, as in any army, you can leave for family circumstances. Agree or write a report that is required for two or three days. There is a normal army discipline. And those who say that I am “everything” can no longer, they send to technical work. But first they should work for several weeks. You see, among us there are people who are not going to where, just to shoot, but specifically command. I myself am ordinary, but as it goes there. He will consider the command to put forward it - put forward. In general, my military specialization is a sniper.

I’ll say right away that we are going volunteers. For example, I am a fairly wealthy person. In my group, at least two more people are also well provided. The rest are ordinary workers, but they do not go for money. We take money with us. Of course, they feed there who smokes, give cigarettes. No alcohol is an absolutely dry law up to the tribunal. They are not ceremony there with their own. They don’t pay money there. Now they are trying to somehow financially provide local militias who are forced not to work. And then - only family. Again, I say: all equipment, we buy all funds here at our own expense. I have my own construction company. I have a child. I have a grandson. Although I divorced my wife, I provide her. He gave her his apartment, bought a new one. From my group with which we cross the border, all family ones. And one is even richer than me.

Of course, you can perplex where the war came from here. In addition to those things that I spoke above, there was another moment that prompted me to make a decision. I am now 43. At 45 I will be old, not so mobile, not so fast, not so well -aimed, despite the fact that I will have a good combat experience. That is, on the battlefield, I will become at least one hundred percent three hundredth (wounded. - Ed. ). This is probably the last chance in my life to make people something good. Not financially. By the way, people from Western Ukraine work in my company. For five years now, two villages have been coming to me. I rent apartments for them. And they work for me. Then they leave when sowing or holidays, Easter or trinity begin. Oddly enough, but my relationship with them is amazing. Maybe when they return to themselves, they begin to suffer from nationalism in a common wave. But there is no such thing here. Moreover, not only men 50 years old come to me, but also young 20-year-old people. There is no work in Western Ukraine at all. They sit with villages and do nothing. The harvest has passed - and that’s it.

This is probably the last chance in my life to make people something good.

Patriotic feelings affected my final decision. Only my patriotic feelings are in no way connected with the figure of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. They are a little wider. And even when the Soviet Union was, I directly said to my mother-communist that I hate communism. In general, when Odessa happened, I was just in shock. Just in shock. But most of all it was not clear to me why people did not go out into the streets. A millionaire city. Just go out. No need to smash or shoot. Just go out. At that time, I thought to myself that it was impossible to intimidate me so much to drown out my inner feeling of indignation.

Of course, you can try to compare me with the main character of the "Lord of the Storm". But I can’t say that I just want to survive the same feelings that I once experienced in hot spots again. There may be something like that. But this is a very small part, very small ... I visited five conflicts. Only in two I was with the same people. In the rest - with different ones. And a week later, these people literally became my family. But death is always difficult to see.

The family knows about my choice. I managed to put all my affairs in order: business, accounts, real estate, went to the notary. Drugs also distributed everything. We broke up with my wife for a long time, but still I informed her. At first she said that I was a fool, and then reconciled with my decision. The son approved. The only person to whom I did not say about my decision is my mother. For her, I went to another city on business. Brother knows too. The sisters did not say that they would not tell his mother. Of course, it’s hard to leave the family, but, I must admit, my family is already an adult. If I had a small child, I would not go, definitely. One person in our group recently had a daughter, this is how he is going, I do not know. But this is what they usually do not ask. He wants - tells. And I have all adults. The grandson is already the third year now. Just now I'm going to meet him.
