The apocalypse is getting closer

When in Moscow it was everywhere planted with hydrogen sulfide, the pessimists immediately found in this phenomenon confirmation of their long -standing guesses about the imminent offensive of the Apocalypse, the end of the ruling regime and the collapse of the newly -made empire.

The jokers explained what was happening simply: if the smell of the October Gary in the middle of snowfall was allegedly connected with the destruction of the bark beetle, then the stench smell in November probably became the result of the destruction of the spice, the struggle with which our authorities began.

But this whole story is beautiful in any case. Classics of the genre. Like it or not, there was a technogenic accident. Moreover, an accident is of such a good scale if poison overtook the inhabitants of the 15 millionth city in all its areas.

However, to name the cause of the accident or at least the source of power and service was not able to elementary! First we were told about the hydrogen sulfide, and then they began to juggle the names of a variety of chemicals. And it was not clear: either all this diverse rubbish fell into the air at the same time, either alternately in different places and at different times, or they simply are not able to determine what we were poisoned.

The norms were exceeded by five times, then by seven, then by two, but at the same time they reported that there was no threat to health. And at what concentration will it appear if seven times higher than the norm is not a threat?

The source is not installed - but localized? The smell will go to such a day, reported to us, but did not specify where and when he came.

They asked not to go out into the streets, but at the same time they called for not panic.

They sinned at the refinery in Kopotn, then at the Schelkovo treatment facilities, then to the Lyubertsy and Kuryanovsky aeration stations. But for some reason they did not find anything at the listed objects until some insiders began to explain that the case of Gazpromneft units was in any case, in any case, it would not be stupidly forbidden and the refinery would not be called guilty.

When it became obvious that everyone was confused and no one knows anything, they promised to explain in a week! When everything is finally dissipated and the ends will definitely not be found. And then they created a commission, threatened with criminal cases and tightening legislation.

Looking at all this, I leaned towards the opinion of the pessimists: this is really the harbinger of the Apocalypse. Not in the biblical sense, but in the very nobility. You can argue about the Kremlin’s policy, about its ideological attitudes and the like abstract things. But the organization of everyday life, management of everyday life is specific, applied, visible things. And we see that they are not able to manage ordinary economic activities. It is not able to establish neither the reasons nor sources of a disorder. Unable to eliminate and repair. And they can only create a commission, tighten the punishment and introduce prohibitions. All!

And it is precisely this inability to create normal conditions for life to people and solve ordinary everyday problems that the foundations of the existing system even more likely than the war with Ukraine, grocery embargo and other military-political escapations. Because no matter how much people stare at the TV and no matter how hung their ears to hang noodles on them, but citizens still spend most of their lives in the real world. And in the real world, it smells in the air, speaking in a common-national fart.
