So far, continuous protests continue throughout Belarus, 171 kilometers from Minsk and 104 kilometers from Vitebsk, in the middle of the Chereysky Lake, a car scene arose, on which concerts of Belarusian musicians were held almost without witnesses-from classics to the embossed. On September 26, these concerts on the water resumed-they can be watched in a direct broadcast and in the record on the Nenev Ark YouTube channel .

Today he commands the broadcast of the concert of the Ethno-Trios . In the complete darkness in the middle of the lake, on a carpet from moss and in the light of spotlights, musicians are sitting. Around them, invisible boats run - five pieces. All who fit on the boats are spectators. In addition to them, the volunteers remaining on the shore near the tower, there is no one here.

The Nenei Ark project is done by a married couple-director of the theater Katya Averkova and the clerk director Matvey Saburov, as well as the team and volunteers of the SPRAVA festival, who was supposed to be held here in the village of Belaya Church, in the summer of 2020 , but did not happen due to pandemic. While we are walking through the slush along the dark forest path towards the camp, where there are a kitchen, a dining table, toilets, a “hotel” and other field convenience, Anya Wolf - a team member and “specialist around everything” - tells how the first time I got here:

- I arrived in 2018 as a volunteer. First, a week of volunteer training, then two days of the festival, and all this time I periodically ended up with the guys on the glider. They noticed me, realized that I do a lot of things and I have to take me into the team. Well, somehow it happened-everyone became friends, and now we have been inseparable for three years.

The Nenev Ark spoke of the possibility of hiding from this absolute coronavirus apocalypse.

For the past five years, Anya studied in Prague, finished her studies in June, returned to Belarus and almost immediately ended up on the shore of the Chereysky Lake:

- I came in the spring, during the coronavirus, to Minsk. Then we still could not understand whether we want to make the Sprava festival or not. Then I left for a month back to Prague, and then almost every week the organizers called up and decided - we cancel the festival, we transfer it to the next year? As a result, they canceled, and a week later they called: “Well, in short, we wrote a project - there will be no festival, there will be“ Nenev Ark ”! For a month festival! ”

About how the idea of ​​the "Ark" appeared, says Katya Averkova:

- When we invented this project and began to implement it, there was a summons of coronavirus. And this “Nenoic Ark”, which drifts in the middle of the seas with the motto “NOW!”, He talked about the possibility of hiding from this absolute coronaviral apocalypse. We thought that the audience would come to our boats and this is a cool move, which automatically implies a distance. Therefore, we specially hid our “ark” so far that it is not visible from the shore, so that people would not be gathering there.

In the camp, the French cook Boris has already prepared dinner, but the broadcast due to the weather began later, so everything is noticeably tense and the meal is postponed-Matvey and the technical part of the team are still in work. I ask Katya: where did the French chef in the Belarusian village?

- When we made the first festival, we wanted it to be a fest of cool freaks. So that it is authentic not only from the point of view of musical design, but also culinary. And then one day in the local newspaper Chirvona Pramen they saw an article about Boris’s cook, who lives in the village of Zavzhevichi in a house with a rooster. I say: “Listen, Matvey, let's go to meet him. Suddenly he will come to Sprava - it's cool! Somewhere five kilometers from us in a village lives a Frenchman! ” We did not know anything about him, but when the Frenchman lives in a neighboring village, you can ask anyone where to look for him and they will show you. So we came to him. Boris in a greenhouse dug in tomatoes, then we realized that he did not speak Russian , nor in English .

For several years, Boris became the hallmark of local cultural cuisine and now appeared not only at the festival, but also at the school of architects, but now he was preparing for the Nenev Ark team a paste, salads and freshly pikes.

“There is always a lot of work at the festival, and this requires a lot of people - at least 30 volunteers,” says Katya about the difference in organizing two events. - Five or six of them will always be on duty in the kitchen in shifts. We usually have huge vats, in which at least 50 people are preparing all the time. Because in addition to 30 volunteers there is also a team of the festival - at least 15 people. We are developing a menu, and we have a kitchen chief. And now, on the Nonenovo Ark, there is no need to perform large feats of cleaning the territory, and on average it is four to five volunteers per day. It is strange if they will also cook themselves. We realized that it makes no sense to gain 10 people so that five of them are preparing food. Otherwise, it turns out that we work to eat. Therefore, we asked Boris to help us in this.

- Tomorrow we have one person. Accordion. And a tree, - the broadcast is over, and on the shore they are already discussing plans the next day. - We still have to see what kind of tree. There will be a tree, a button accordion will sit.

What we do is really cool content.

“Weather forecast: from 14:00 rain,” one of the volunteers reads the forecast.

- So, it is necessary to make super -power and start a broadcast at 13:00. Put a tree and clean the raft from the moss, ”says Matvey.

- I'll get up at 10 and start cooking! - Ilya is called, who, among other things, is responsible for the picture from the air.

- All the lust. Thank you. Excuse me, if I shouted anyone - I'm not from evil, ”Matvey apologizes for sharpness during work. Everyone laughs, collect equipment, and we have time to talk. We sit on two chairs from the festival Cossacks next to the director's cut. I ask who are all these people who have been helping Matvey for several years turn the forgotten village into a cultural center.

- First of all, this is Katya Averkova - my wife. With her we are iron -jacket, and then we have a dense brigade. Serega Kravchenko - with him we make a music program and architectural solutions. Everything here is built according to his projects. Alina Krushinskaya is our PR , copywriter, and last year at the festival she led a volunteer camp of 100 people-this is her personal level-up as an introvert. Kristina Grekova is our SMM . Max Osipov - a designer and, in general, an ideologist who formulates a lot, takes a lot of himself. In general, all the people who work with us are distinguished by the fact that they take a lot on themselves. They are high. Here Max quarterly is the technical director of the festival, and now this is the main person on the Nonen's Ark. He makes light, sound, video, shooting, broadcasting. Ilya, our athlete-donor, I am the sound/operator Sasha Mukhomor-this is our Pull , who is responsible for the picture and sound. Anya Wolf is the head of our whole. Holds all this camp on his shoulders from July 24. Max Shumilin - from the "Chantraph", all these projects of classical music with Pavel Kuzyukovych (Paphnutius Kuzyukyan), including the piano on the raft; With our help, it survived to the piano on the raft in the center of this lake. We are interrupted by screams from the lake. Soon a boat is moored to the shore, several more people go ashore, among them Gleb.

-Glebed-Crycoon. I forgot to say about Glebeda! Our electrician and in general the person who you say: "Gleb, listen, here XLR , in my opinion , does not work." His eyes light up: "Oh, work!" And Leshka is also our main energy, which is mating everything here. Grisha. Egor Wind is our engineer who establishes Wi-Fi for kilometers. So many people make so many different things, and all of them with their skills are strange that I do not have - and this is cool.

- What is your main task here?

- In this project, my main task is to shoot high videos. For the past five years, I have been in the recession of this wave, was engaged in a festival and social activities. I shot some television programs a little at work, but I did not want to shoot. As 20 years ago, I crossed the music - and I retained it in the background. And it seemed to me that I had already gone back to the director's activity, and then I was inspired significantly. What we do is ... We must be modest, but it is really cool content. I mean, I did not think that we would succeed. This is cool. This is unique. And me personally-I am only talking about myself-it charges me for long, long months ahead.

I ask what concert for Matvey has become the most important for August. Answers - the very first:

- When we put the piano, we got a pianist, and we found a pianist - a teacher of the Dutch conservatory during the day of the pianist, he was resting here. And there was wind, rain, there is a wrapped piano. The first broadcast is the ass. Seven o’clock in the evening - it is not clear whether everything will be or will not. And then we decide: it would seem to be clear. And so he appeared here so quiet, he sat down at this piano, plays the first note ... And I am sitting in the installation and just falling into a trance. When you write and save something, this is one thing, and when you go out online-even if only three people watch ether, do not care-these are completely different internal sensations. I remember that I had some kind of biochemical storm in my head. I was so happy. Due to the fact that everything turned out so cool. I got into the very heart. And it happens, you know, such an euphoria, when all are so native, all so cool, everything is hugged. One of the happiest days in my life, in fact.

The concert begins, passes for two to three hours-and as if you wipe the glass after the winter and looks around a piece of spring.

Then there were other concerts, among them - “The Street of the World” with Svetlana Ben, the embossed project JJ.ok.

- In two days, the Naviband group happened, which, in general, I myself never really listened. And so they come, such cats-cotics, good ones. And they sound so, and they brought some such a program that half a camp was crying. There is something very trembling in this. It is so simple. They all come with these smartphones, Facebooks, where they have all sorts of terrible territies, and now the concert begins, two to three hours pass-and as if you wipe the glass after the winter and looks around a piece of spring, optimism. In general, musicians tend to play music, and it is inspiring them. And people tend to listen to, and this also, as it were, vacuums all this dust, garbage that accumulates. I do not call a protest of garbage, I call garbage an emotional background.

- How do you yourself feel about this background?

- I have not been in Minsk since the end of July. I follow the news every few days. I understand that, in fact, I can be the most effective person for myself and for something potentially not mine, doing what I like to do. I mean, I planned and cannot refuse it. I want to do it. I empathize with what is happening and cannot stand violence. I can’t endure aggression. It always upset me in people.

I ask who built this tower near which we are sitting.

- Tower? This is last year's project. Again, I forgot to say - we are to dick, you know. This is Zakhar Averkov, Katin Bratella. He is the foreman of the builders, with Vitalik Voloshin together. And four to five more joiners from their campus. I left for Minsk - there was a foundation. I arrived from Minsk a day later - there is a tower. All this is built for three days. The raft was built in two and a half day. The beach was built in two and a half day. The scene is for three. They do not want to build a land of art . “To hell with Land Arts , come on something ... Tower? Bend! Come on the tower! " Next year, the airship will be built.

- And now a real directorial cabin has grown out of this.

- Yes, this is generally a real partisan television. This is a coolly large sum of different efforts and different loves. However, I do not know who the wolf voted for. I am to the sink.

- What do you know there! You have been seeing me for a month now! - laughs Anya.

- (Voice from the side) Who did you vote for?

“For Tikhanovskaya,” Anya turns to Matvey: “I saw who you voted for.”

- I myself was going to vote against everyone, as usual. I’m sitting, and around me all the “Tikhanovites”. In the village, the chairman of the village council with Urnaya drives all grandmothers. Well, to me, as it were, to my grandfather. Here they bring this urn, give a ballot, and they sit around me, and I, without even thinking, so - Chick - and for Tikhanovskaya. And I take it, turn and ask: an accordion? And the chairman says: "Yes, as you want, and turn off."

I am not going to measure the world of human lives and deaths.

“But I realized what you mean,” I say. - People here are not united by this principle.

-Yes. But, I think, a very important thing is when to talk about it. I understand why people are so embittered - because inhuman things are really happening, beyond the facet of humanism, but there is a lot of so in Belarus. I finished with faith in anything after the coronavirus. The behavior of this country in the era of coronavirus does not seem normal at all. In the sense - in general. The victims on the streets among the demonstrators do not seem more expensive to me more than grandparents who were dying in ignorance in March-April. It seems to me that this is the same. That part was even worse significantly. But, again, I am not going to measure the world of human lives and deaths. I still think that an important thing is a creature.

We are going to return to the camp for dinner. Katya is waiting for us there.

After the concert, everyone looks tired, but very funny. On the one hand of the table, Maxim quarterly, the technical director of the Ark, delays something of his own composition: “... in a pond for mussels, mussels, mussels, ruffles of chlamydia ...” Someone picks up: “Lidia Yermoshina is so bad.” Next to me, Katya whiskers on the table a melody from the duet Parasi and Filimon (Trembit):

In order to break out of all this feast operetta, we retire to the “hotel” - under the awning under which the carpet is spread, there are three mattresses and there is a heater.

- Katya, do you live in this village?

- Yes, in the village of Belaya Church. Eight years. In life, I am a theater director, I go to various cities, countries and theaters - I put performances. And I am also a composer, I work design and return here. And at least once a year I am doing something big here-such as the SPRAVA festival or now the Noneva Ark.

Katya tells and at the same time plays with a tiny snail, which she found inside the “hotel”.

-In general, I am the director of the socio-cultural institution “Heart of the right”, which is the organizer of both the festival and all our projects, including the “Nenoye Ark”. Just what I do is not very interesting to listen to: I am engaged in accounting, budgets, logistics and organization. I force volunteers to lay carpets everywhere, collect flowers to make it beautiful, and get out in the kitchen. Do you think I'm interested in sitting in these tons of folders and papers? It's horrible! I also make posters. I’ll be on the camp on the camp. I do everything. I make broadcasts sometimes. I put a camera with the guys, that is, I solve the directorial problems directly. And also, when there is not enough food, I cook food in the kitchen. Here everything is doing everything.

I ask how to coexist with the reality that is around.

- It is very difficult for me personally. By the way, I do not think that we all go in one position, but I will say for ourselves. It was difficult for me from the very beginning of the project. Even before the elections, it was clear that it was a little ... inappropriate. It is inappropriate to allow excessive advertising, simply because people did not need it - another agenda. We all knew that it would be August 9, and no one knew anything further. We could not even suggest. We decided - everything, let's just wait. And after August 9, when all this obscurantism began and all this hell began, it was very scary. It is impossible to think about the project. For example, it became clear to me that now it is definitely impossible to be out of context and pretend that nothing is happening. On the other hand, we took a well -thought -out pause for the first week and gradually came out of it - we published that we support peaceful protests, after each link to the video we have an announcement of the collection of public funds to the victims as a result of the government’s actions. And now I understand that many people are afraid to live outside this agenda. Это удивительная вещь — люди боятся вообще что-то спросить в интернете, допустим, про стоматолога. Все обязательно извиняются: мол, как я могу думать, говорить и делать что-то еще. У меня тоже было такое чувство вины. Мы перезвонили каждому музыканту, чтобы уточнить их намерение участвовать.

Любая поддержка — любая песня, любой юмор — она спасает. Нужно обязательно выходить из этого мрака.

Катя рассказывает, что концерт «Петли пристрастия» перенесся на осень и только два коллектива сказали, что не в состоянии сейчас играть — может быть, позже.

— Но все остальные сказали, наоборот, что они очень хотят. Это касается «Улицы Мира», Беньки и других музыкантов. Например, Паша Кузюкович сказал: «Ребята, я ездил к изолятору в Жодино, забирал людей, и я понимаю, что любая поддержка — любая песня, любой юмор — она спасает. Нужно обязательно выходить из этого мрака». Поэтому ребята, которые здесь выступают, как раз и используют этот посыл. Возможно, это кому-то поможет ощутить силы, переключиться. Если внимательно посмотреть все эти выступления, они все об одном и том же, на самом-то деле. Но они говорят на другом языке — на языке искусства, а не политических заявлений.

Вторая функция проекта (по словам Кати — основная) — это дать возможность выступить артистам, которые уже полгода сидят без работы и без творческой реализации, снять для них качественный видеоматериал и подарить.

— Это помощь артистам в дальнейшем продвижении, потому что, когда все эти времена политические, коронавирусные закончатся, людям нужно будет заново искать работу. И третье (это то, чего мы не планировали, но что получается): люди, приезжающие сюда, — будь то артисты, волонтеры или зрители, которые вырываются из этой повестки на день-другой, — они совсем не воспринимают это как какое-то веселье. Но они определенно отдыхают, перезаряжаются, чтобы включиться заново с новыми силами. Поэтому я думаю, что все не зря.
