Ministerial relapse

Lieutenant General Anatoly Petrichenko is suspected of exceeding his official powers, which entailed causing damage to the state in the amount of over 12 million rubles. This is not the first case brought against senior representatives of the Ministry of Defense. Thus, in 2001, the Russian Main Military Prosecutor's Office opened a case for abuse of power against the head of the Main Directorate of the Military Budget and Financing of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Colonel General Georgy Oleynik.
