The leader of the “We” movement, Roman Dobrokhotov, who staged a silent protest near the White House on January 31, has been released. During the action, he and his comrades in the movement were detained and, despite the fact that all participants in the action stood with their mouths taped and holding empty posters, Dobrokhotov was imprisoned for five days for obscene language, and some of his comrades were fined. However, on February 3, the judge of the Presnensky Court, who was considering Dobrokhotov’s case, decided to add to the case a video recording of the action, which shows that Roman did not chant slogans and did not swear. However, as Kasparov.ru reports, for some reason it took the judge several hours to draw the appropriate conclusions from what he saw.
