Ilya Goryachev (in the center) during the sentence
Goryachev was found guilty of all points of prosecution (organization of five murders). Including - lawyer Stanislav Markelov, Anti -Fascist Fedor Filatov and Ilya Japaridze.
At 12:41, the jury retired to the advisory room for the verdict. During the first three hours of discussion of evidence, they had to come to unanimous opinion on all issues - only 26 pieces.
In total, from 2008 to 2011, the combat organization of Russian nationalists committed 10 murders, a number of crimes were committed under the same brand, but the investigating authorities did not investigate them. Goryachev passed the accused in five episodes - the murder of Migrant Salokhiddin Azizov and the tossing his head to the entrance to the Council of the Mozhaysky district of Moscow, the murder of the defendant in the case of the "Black Hawks" Rasul Khalilov, the murder of the lawyer of the left glances of Stanislav Markelov and the murder of the anti -fascists Fedor Filatov and Ilya Japaridze. In addition, he is accused of creating a gang and an extremist community, as well as the illegal turnover of weapons and explosive devices.
Roughness
The defendant denies his guilt and calls himself political prisoner. However, the judge does not agree with this formulation. The judge generally tried to get around the issues of politics throughout the process. “Your mind was clogged with unnecessary information - the presidential administration, other political things. I beg you to study only the data related to the case, ”he once declared the jury.
This was especially manifested after the press secretary of Putin Dmitry Peskov was asked about the relations of the presidential administration and nationalists, as previously stated by the witnesses. However, Peskov himself diplomatically evaded the answer. Sources close to the investigation claim that Igor Krasnov, the investigator for especially important cases of the Investigative Committee, qualitatively conducted an investigation, but he tried to pushing the versions of the Nazi underground ties to the background. By the way, Krasnov was investigating the death of Boris Nemtsov.
However, the jury listened with interest to the nuances of the policy of the end of the zero. Later, three of them, at the same time referring to family circumstances, left the collegium, and this served as the reason to believe that pressure was on the jury.
As part of the process, the defense was going to call many public figures. In particular, the head of the “Young” ex-deputy Maxim Mishchenko, the ex-head of the AP Office Nikita Ivanov and the journalist of the Komsomolskaya Pravda Dmitry Steshin, in whose apartment, hiding from the investigation, the killed Markelov Tikhonov lived. The correspondent introduced Tikhonov to St. Petersburg weapons. It was from the arsenal acquired from them that most of the victims of the group were killed. However, Steshin did not appear on the agenda, and the judge decided not to involve the trial of weapons now, not to involve the process of Goryachev.
The charge for the most part was built on two things. Firstly, at the opened correspondence Goryachev with friends and associates in Skype and ICQ. In conversations, he admitted the love of the Irish Republican Army, discussed a showdown with competitors on the political field and flirted with a girl from Novorossiysk, and bewitched by the image of a radical. An entertaining detail - a few days before the murder of Markelov, he left for Serbia and advised his friends in a similar way, warning that it would be safer for everyone.
Secondly, the accusation focuses on the confessions of Nikita Tikhonov, who a year after the sentence made a deal with the investigation in the Harp polar colony, and Hasis, who, together with his spouse, was sentenced to 18 years for complicity in the murder. The defense of Goryacheva claims that the girl decided to speak in the hope of receiving parole, so she will be able to go free in a few years. By the way, it was Goryachev who testified in the Markelov case, then he took self, so that the next time he had already abandoned him.
During a three -day interrogation, Hasis actively denounced the defendant. “Until the last, I wanted to fade Nikita, by hook or by crook, I stood up for him and for myself. I sincerely believed that those events in Bourne are a kind of revolutionary path in the struggle for good and justice. Later, I realized that Ilya gave orders to kill people, based exclusively from his personal ambitions and interests, exclusively selfishly, sometimes even just for a simple profit, ”she said with a jury.
When Goryachev in response, in a quiet voice from the Aquarium, tried to explain his position in a similar format, the judge repeatedly interrupted it. After that, the lawyers demanded the withdrawal, but only received warnings themselves. It is interesting to note that at the meetings on Bourn at the end of 2014, Hasis almost directly claimed that people close to the Kremlin were behind everything. This time she focused on the fact that the defendant was deceiving everyone - both militants and close to the presidential administration. Unfortunately, the witness could not answer the clarifying questions of NT - the Hasis support group claims that the letter has not passed the censorship of the pre -trial detention center for a month.
"For traditional values, against same -sex marriages"
In the nationalist environment, 33-year-old Goryachev for a characteristic appearance had a nickname of a student at all. It differs from associates along the right -wing scene - the lack of tattoos, an unsportsmanlike physique, glasses. Even on the process on Bourne militants at the end of 2014, he came in a jacket. On his own trial, he constantly recalls that he is a graduate of the History Fund, and only earned a political consulting for people close to the presidential administration. In particular, he made analytical notes on anti -fascists - the investigation believes that the addresses of the dead were used for other purposes.
It all started from the circle of friends who rally around the War site, says Natalya Nikifirova, the mother of the defendant. "Wojik" is an Internet forum, where Balkanists and nationalists who are interested in Serbia gathered. Goryachev was known to the regulars under the nickname "Arkan" - in honor of the leader of the Serbian nationalist movement, Gelko Razhnatovich. In 1999, the prosecutor of the International Tribunal in the former Yugoslavia accused him of transporting civilians to the place of execution. A year later he was killed - the customers were not installed. The name "Russian image" is a reference to the Serbian right organization "Image", which has cultivated the memory of the famous commander, whose life overgrown with legends.
“Like all the boys, he was interested in the war, the situation in Yugoslavia was very difficult at the time of his high school,” the mother recalls in a conversation with NT . “He sympathized with the Serbs who were bombed.” It was the hobby of world geopolitics, in particular, the Belgrade bombing by NATO aviation, who tells Nikifirova, and led her son to the choice of humanitarian specialization: “From childhood, he instilled interest in political events. Ilya reads a lot, and everything that he reads remembers almost word for word. ”
Nikifirova says that he fully supports the right -conservative views of the offspring (“I am for traditional values, against same -sex marriages”) - even has gratitude from the royal house of the Romanovs for the organization of readings, as the mistress of the literary salon and the secretary of the Russian literary club, which owns the famous site “Poems.ru”.
Until the debate, the mother did not attend meetings. She also repeatedly tried to make her way up - through social networks she asked friends to go to the FSO to bring the truth to the president, and then personally published open letters to Putin: “Vladimir Vladimirovich! I beg. Help your mother. Otherwise, I will not live to meet my son. ”
In turn, Goryachev in letters from a pre -trial detention center directly indicates that “the whole thing about me is a lever for the pressure of one intra -elite group to another. Surkov worked with living people, building the rudiments of civil society on the fragments of a total late Soviet aversion to public life. Opala Surkov was largely due to the fact that, having laid the foundations of civil society in the 2000s, he involuntarily gave rise to the current mainstream-fashion for protest. ”
The accused of five murders directly connects his arrest in Serbia on May 8, 2013 with the then resignation of Surkov. It is interesting that the Investigative Committee did not want to interrogate either Vladislav Surkov, nor the ex-head of the State Committee of the Russian Federation for Youth Affairs Vasily Yakemenko, which Eugene Hasis mentions in his testimony. "The car will not punish itself"
In an interview with NT, the lawyers of the defendants reported that both right and left were infiltrated. Goryachev also claims to be curated over the anti -fascist movement. He recalls an attempt by Vasily Yakemenko to get in touch and anti -fascist Denis Solopov. Solopov is one of those who, together with Alexei Sutuga (convicted of a fight with right -wing radicals after returning from the Maidan) and Alexei Gaskarov (convicted as part of a swamp case), began to be mentioned on nationalist sites as the “main antifa” after the murder of older anti -fascists.
According to nationalists, it was these two who became the new leaders of the anti -fascists after the murder of friends. His installation data was accompanied by a photo from the police department, where right -wing radicals supposedly came to find information on opponents. After the anarchists in 2010 attacked the Khimki administration, which attracted nationalists to disperse ecologists, Denis left the country.
“It was some time after January 19, the next anniversary of the murder of Stas. When we - bald, with knives - entered this major cafe near the "children's world", then Yakemenko realized that it was useless to speak. The meeting began with the fact that we defiantly did not regret outstretched hands - two people were sitting with Yakhemenko who were noted by the whole conversation on laptops. - recalls Solopov. “We initially decided that we have nothing to talk about and take advantage of the moment to express all this in the face: with whom he cooperates, and why this is unacceptable.”
In 2014, in a conversation with NT , Yakemenko said that everything was supervised by the presidential administration: “Nationalist organizations were supervised and oversee. But to supervise does not mean to have control. ” Solopov claims that he also met with Maxim Mishchenko - after the anti -fascists threw smoke bombs of the Russian Office of Russia the day after the murder of the anti -fascist Ivan Khutorsky. The reason was the photograph of the leaders of the Rumola and the Russian Image at a joint event.
During the current process, Goryachev said that Nikita Tikhonov even went to the office to meet with the leader of the “local” Leonid Simunin, who wanted to make Tikhonov as his guard. At the trial, Simunin kept nervously, during the interrogation in a quiet voice claimed that he knew nothing about his alleged partners. For example, Goryachev said that the leader of the “local” invited the nationalists to work as collectors and break their debts.
“I saw Mishchenko a few days after the pogrom, when I met a friend who discussed with him on radio,” Solopov recalls. - After the program, I came up with the words: "We were at the office, I do not hide from anyone." He is right away: "We work with all the youth, let's meet in a calm atmosphere." He began to offer to allocate money, offered to protect events, to tell that they were also ideological - Radishchev there, Berdyaev. Yes, all these people speak such a language. ”
The anti -fascist is confident that there will be no accusations of committing specific crimes for any of the Kremlin youth figures. “The car will not punish itself in the usual meaning of the word, even for the jamb of its mechanisms. For people of this order, punishment is a career stop, roughly speaking, retirement. Here, after our actions, they all lit up, for which the system was sent to Simunin and Mishchenko from the system. ” Today, Mishchenko is no longer a deputy of the State Duma, but activists of the immersed in whom were part of the recently formed Anti -Maidan.
Ukrainian factor
Ukraine is a connecting thread for all involved in the process. Tikhonov and the accomplice in the Born Mikhail Volkov case were hidden there. Now in the Azov battalion, Alexander Parinov, a friend of Tikhonov and Hasis, who brought a poster with the leader of the UPA Shukhevich Goryachev, serves. There, Aleksey Korshunov, decorated with swastikas, was blown up on his own grenade, who, after the arrest of Tikhonov, coordinated the militants.
For a long time, Ukraine was a place where radical nationalists could burden. After the Maidan - already in conclusion - each of them demonizes the country that gave a break after periodic persecution in Russia. From the conclusion, Hasis, penetratively writes about how she is overwhelmed by joy after the return of Crimea to his native harbor, and in the process convicts the “bloody revolution”, which Goryachev allegedly wanted to untie at home.
Each of the parties tries to pull the attention of the jury to its side. For example, Goryachev, not without enthusiasm, recalls that the local cell of the “Russian image” became a combat unit at the Ministry of Security of the DPR. By the way, Yegor Gorshkov, who led the Russian Image Security Service, whose lectures on surveillance and resignation were recorded by Tikhonov, have been fighting in the Donbass since last summer, and the already convicted militant Bornin Baklagin also emotionally asked to replace the punishment with a service in the penal battalion.
Evgeny Valyaev, a friend Goryachev and a colleague in the “Russian image”, who witnessed the defense, still remains in Moscow. He collaborates with the International Organization for Observation of the CIS-EMO election, close to the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation. In April, in the press center of the MIA Russia Today, he presented an analytical report on the influence of the Maidan on the opposition, where he thoroughly and by namely told what forces opposed the then power in Kyiv.
Goryachev was extracted from Serbia, and according to the conditions of extradition, he cannot receive for his crimes for more than 25 years, despite the fact that the jury found him guilty of all points of the prosecution. If he were detained in Russia, the judge could have sentenced the nationalist to a life imprisonment.
