The fight against nature continues

In Selyatin near Moscow, where activists are protesting against deforestation, environmental activist Tatyana Pavlova was detained, reports ovdinfo.org. She has been held at the local police station for four hours by order of the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Naro-Fominsk district of the Moscow region. She is booked under two administrative articles - organizing a blockade, as well as active participation in blocking transport communications, for which she faces a fine of one hundred thousand rubles, and the notorious disobedience to the legal demands of police officers, for which she may face administrative arrest for up to 15 days. Pavlova became ill at the police station, an ambulance was called, reports ovdinfo.org. In the near future, the activist should be taken to court in Naro-Fominsk.

As it turned out later, the court hearing on Pavlova’s administrative cases will take place on February 5.
